This client was an old, old friend who I literally haven’t seen in 16 years! She looks the exact same! So unfair. Anyway, we had a blast with their sweet daughter, who was a total kick in the pants. And I seem to always get families with hysterical husbands and this guy was no exception. So funny. I love these photos. Here are some of my faves.

A sweet chit chat and hug with Mom.

So much fun with Dad, too.

Not sure how we feel about apples?

She loves her ma and pops.

So funny. Not only does she have some decent dance moves, but she has some good dance faces too.

Time to bake. We ate a lot of dough.

So much fun to see you guys! xoxo

The W Family . In-Home Storytelling Session . San Francisco Family Photographer

OK So let me explain something. I call my sessions “In-Home Storytelling” sessions because I mostly shoot in people’s homes. I love the relaxed, playful feel of these sessions because everyone is more comfy at home. I love telling stories. BUT…they don’t HAVE to always be in homes. This sweet family in San Francisco took me to the Farmer’s Market for their shoot a few weeks ago. They do it every Sunday morning, so it’s a spot and a story that means something to them. I love that. So if the thought of shooting in your home scares you, then let’s go somewhere fun that you love as a family. A farmer’s market, an aquarium, a vacation spot, a fun lake, whatever! And if your family happens to vacation in Paris, I am MORE THAN WILLING to accompany you and photograph your family:)

Anyway, check out these cute pics…We DID start at home:

Then we headed to the market! We bought lots of good stuff, including a loaf of french bread. I don’t know if they needed it, but I thought it was a perfect photo prop for a Farmer’s Market shoot. Ha.

Love the two sisters sharing a croissant like Lady and the Tramp.

Heading home and apparently this is typical…Dad carrying the youngest’s bag for her or carrying her because she’s pooped. Look how happy she is in Dad’s arms, though. Although she does have a croissant too, so maybe that’s why she’s happy? Either way, so cute.

The A Family . In-Home Storytelling Session . East Bay Family Photographer

I met this cute family at their gorgeous home for a fun morning. Two beautiful girls played with each other, jumped on their parents a bit, helped me take some photos with my camera and even had some time with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a good day! I love this first series of the two girls each running to one of their parents and jumping on them. So funny…

Super, super fun girls…who happen to be beautiful too.

Sweet pup…

Grandma and Grandpa time. Really sweet…

Bobby! . In-Home Storytelling Session . East Bay Family Photographer

My sister-in-law had Baby Bobby back in May and I was super honored that she asked me to do a session with her and the cutest kid you ever did see. He was such a good boy for the entire session and we had fun with his costume changes. We even got grandma Mimi involved… Enjoy!

Shara looked super beautiful that day. And LOOK AT THAT KID.

Time at the piano and in his christening dress. Tired him out apparently.

Mimi time!

I think these three photos are my three favorites from the entire session. The hat kills me, but look at his face in the second photo. Like, “What the heck are you doing back there?” And the light in that last pic…

Sweet Mama and a tired Bobby.

Love ya Bobby!

Mimi can make him laugh. Pretty darn cute.

The Z Family . In-Home Storytelling Session . East Bay Family Photographer

My recent in-home storytelling session with this amazing family. She happens to be one of my best friends in the world, too. But her husband and kids are pretty cool too:) Here are some pics from their session!

Little guy fell off the side of the ottoman!

Sweet Mama and son. And no session is truly complete until the littlest one tries to get naked. Happens all the time.

Mmmm, pancakes. Even the pups get breakfast.

Can you even believe this amazing wall of Nerf guns?

Why do the dogs always love the dads best?

Sooo, he was pretending to be a goat who was charging at me? Sure, I’ll play. Here’s the sequence. Also – note Dad’s face.

Did I mention they were so fun?
