i photographed this very sweet newborn shoot at their cute home in pleasant hill! emalyn is 6 weeks old and was so fun to photograph! i loved that we were able to get some outdoor family shots and she didn’t mind all of little ways we propped her to get those darling newborn shots… enjoy…
how darling are they! we photographed alyssa and tk’s engagement session at crissy beach and then fort baker … which is one of the coolest locations. the brick and old rustic feel is always fun to photograph. alyssa and tk were just so fun to photograph… so photogenic and up for whatever! love that. :)…
as it turns out, doing these photography 101 posts every other Monday, during the heat of wedding season, was completelyy unrealistic. but with the end of wedding season, as of last Saturday, i hope to pick this back up and answer questions you may have and just write about whatever photography i can think of!…

Question for this post, what photoshop action did you run? Did you create one yourself? I have Photoshop Elements and I’ve downloaded a bunch of actions but none of them do what yours did above.
SO, what I LOVE LOVE LOVE most about your photos is how ridiculously clear and sharp they are. Please write about that one day :-) I suppose it’s mostly the camera/lens you have but are there any secrets to getting a crisp clear and totally in focus subject?? I’m looking for a new lens for my camera and cannot decide!!
